i'm doing my best... i'm not trying to be cruel, but you're someone who caused a lot of damage back home. i heard you tried to kill some of the first years, and you were the one who messed up aizawa-sensei's eyes. if someone hurt your friends then you wouldn't trust them immediately, would you?

a hero doesn't do things like that. you aren't a hero.

Flattery will get you nowhere and who are you to decide what heroism is? Walk a mile out of the privileged life you lead and maybe you'll see another side you never considered. Heroes who can't even see the other side, aren't heroes, they're the reason I did what I did.

there is no side that would justify trying to kill first years! you should take out your problems on the people they involve. innocent third parties don't deserve to be dragged into messes like this!

you don't get to decide what a hero is either, you know. i think we're both going to agree that a title doesn't mean much here or back where we came from. you have a criminal record from back home and the things you did are unforgivable!

there's more involved than just talking to people... i have to answer questions and represent the brand, travel, and so many more things i really don't want to do.

eighteen, but i don't know... this one pays well, and my quirk only has so many uses. i don't think many other companies will suit it so well.

Villains not being given the opportunity means they were petty criminals. Villains don't need to be given anything, they take it and know how to make their own assessments. That's why they're villains.

The bookstore had been where he went for Kaneki's stuff, but the moment he saw these books, he couldn't resist. As powerful a hero as Tamaki must be, he was so timid and it was the only thing Shigaraki remembered about him. It felt pitiful. So maybe, because of how totally nice he was as a person and also a neighbour, these would help.

The first edition copy of Overcoming Anxiety for Dummies, as well as it's companion book Confidence for Dummies. But since he was such a nice neighbour, there was also a substantial gift card to a local health food store called Soy Boy taped to the final book: The Complete Soy Cookbook.
